Under Article 17 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request erasure of your personal data. This page explains how to exercise this right for Pixel Sand.
To request deletion of your data, send an email to privacy@pixelsand.ganko.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request - [Your Player ID]" and include:
We will send you a verification code to the email address you provided. You must reply with this code within 7 days to confirm your identity. This protects your account from unauthorized deletion requests.
Once your identity is verified, we will delete your data as follows:

* Amplitude processes deletion within their SLA; Ganko sends the request immediately upon your verification.
Right to Erasure (Article 17): You can request deletion of your personal data, except where we are legally required to retain it (fraud prevention, tax compliance, etc.).
Right to Data Portability (Article 20): Before deletion, you can request a copy of your personal data in a machine-readable format (CSV export). Email privacy@pixelsand.ganko.com with subject "Data Portability Request". We will provide this within 30 days.
Right to Object (Article 21): You can object to processing of your data for analytics/marketing purposes. Reply to any marketing email or contact privacy@pixelsand.ganko.com.
Can I cancel my deletion request after submitting it?
Yes, until we receive your verified identity. Once deletion begins, it cannot be reversed.
Will deletion affect other users' accounts?
No. Only your personal data is deleted. Shared progress with friends remains unaffected.
What if I'm under 16?
If you created an account as a minor in an EU country, we need parental consent for any data processing. Contact privacy@pixelsand.ganko.com with proof of parental authorization.
How long does it take?
Verification: 1-3 days. Deletion: up to 30 days from verification (longer for legal holds).

If you believe we are not complying with your data rights, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
